Pixel 2d Platformer

  • To craft this world, I utilized Photoshop to create both concepts and production pixel assets. From characters to levels, props and animations.

  • Unity was our work horse to build out Path to Zenith, Utilising C sharp. I built out levels and game VFX to sell the dystopian cyberpunk universe.

  • After effects was used to create the intro game animatic. With clever layering and simple effects.

  • From creating wireframes and storyboarding and lore building, Both myself and my brother who worked with me on the project utilised various Game design techniques to get a functioning and challenging 2D pixel platformer.

  • It was pivotal to tell a story that had depth. Both myself and my brother spent many days creating a world that was rich of characters, Environments and mystery.

  • With my background in music and composition, I used Ableton to write the soundtrack as well as the game Sound effects.
